It is in Pokemon Generation 3 that I draw my attention.
With the recent outbreak of Lavender Town Syndrome, the seizures from the Porygon episode of the Anime, Generation 3 was a real change.
Suddenly, there were no references to the real world.
No references to Johto, or Kanto.
To Professor Oak, or Bill
To Team Rocket.
To Red, or Blue.
But why the sudden isolation of this new world?
Why break away from the extensive world, and yet stay with the same name and interface?
This was still pokemon.
It turns out, this was not always the case....

I must kiss the joint that bends
And combines us together.

I lay my lips to your temples,
As I learned about the temple of reform,
For the Youth in North America.
Kissing you there signifying I will protect you,
As well as your temple,
As we re-form, into something more.
The fourth day I told you I loved you,
I’d kiss you softly on your forehead.
Because that’s what holds your brillian
